FAQs

What’s included?

Numie has everything you need out at the tents. Hot water showers and towels, composting loo and toilet paper, super comfy mattress with soft linen and blankets. Private bbq with cooking utensils, olive oil, salt & pepper, stove top kettle. We also have got you covered with super long forks for roasting up marshmallow, also included. Each tent has a decent size fridge so you're able to keep your tucker fresh.

How many glamping sites are there

There are only three glamping setups each with a private bathroom, dining pod and firepit area. Each site has beautiful water and mountain views and is positioned 15-20 meters apart for privacy.

Do the tents have electricity?

All our tents are solar powered, so yes! There is 12v electricity that runs the lights, fridge and USB charging point. 240v sockets are not available. We also provide both lighting and USBc cables for charing phones, cameras and laptops.

Tell me about the tents

We have partnered with Homecamp as we believe the quality of their tents is the best on the market. Super strong standing up to 80kph winds, fully enclosed mosquito netting to keep the bugs out and fully water proof. Plus heaps of vents and zip windows to keep you cool.

Will I be warm in the tent during the cooler months?

Each tent comes fitting with a winnerwell wood burner and we provide you with super dry wood. So warm, snug and ambience are all provided. Easy how to guides show step by step how to light the burner for the novice.

Can I have a fire?

Camping wouldn’t be the same without a fire. Each tent has a designated fire pit area and a solo stove complete with a spark arrester for your safety. This being said, if you intend on having a fire just remember your 100% responsible for it until its completely out. On super windy days and total fire ban days you will not be allowed to start a fire.

Are kids allowed?

All our tents are designed with a queen bed for one or two adults only. We’d love for the whole family to come and get off grid together, but given the bush is largely unmanned and wild there are a number of risks present that can be heightened by adding small children. Like unfenced dams, open water, dirt tracks, local wildlife, ants and snakes. Its for these reasons we are an adults only escape.

Can I drive right up to the tent?

Unfortunately not. We have made every effort to preserve the natural environment and integrity of the local area. So each tent is a short walk through the bush from the parking spaces. Trolleys provided to cart your luggage.

Composting toilet? What’s the go?

All our tents are 100% off-grid and environmentally sustainable. this means having a composting loo. It’s almost identical to your one at home except there’s no flush. Liquids are diverted while solids are kept and composted under the pedestal. Our systems are odourless, but keep in mind you are in the wilderness so always keep the lid closed! Don't put anything but TP, bulking agents (think wood chips) and your 1's and 2's down the chute. Just in case, air freshener provided!
