The Freycinet Challenge is a multi-sport event, running over two days through the stunning Freycinet Peninsula at Coles Bay, which is on the East Coast of Tasmania. If you’re a paddler, a road cyclist, a runner or a mountain biker, this is a challenge you can take on as a team or as a solo competitor in one of the most beautiful places in Australia.

Chocolate Winterfest

SHELLEBRATION
Come on you Oyster Lovers, celebrate all that is wonderful about Oysters. The oldest family-run Oyster Farm in Tasmania is opening the farm gate for a very special Shellebration. Normally closed on weekends this exclusive event will have you slurping down award-winning Gold oysters whilst enjoying live music.
You can partake in shucking your own oyster and learn more about the oyster farming process. Hosted by the melrose family who are shellebrating 40 years of nurturing Pacific Oysters at Dolphin Sands Tasmania.
Ticket includes lunch, music, shucking and bus transfers from Swansea.

Bicheno Beams
Chilly nights at the East Coast are set to shine with a spectacular laser show over Waubs Bay, Bicheno.
A family-friendly celebration of light, Bicheno Beams is yet another reason to visit this town on Tasmania’s stunning East Coast. You'll be welcomed by a team of local volunteers who will guide you to the viewing area. Come for two nights and see two different, alternating shows.
This is a free event held every night from 29th of June till 20th of July.

A weekend of relaxation, good food, good music and good company with fabulous surroundings.

ECHO Festival
The East Coast Harvest Odyssey, known as ECHO Festival, has become known for weaving together immersive sensory experiences around the traditions of harvest, old and new. Coles Bay Triathlon 2024
The Coles Bay Triathlon is held within the natural reserves of beautiful Coles Bay, on the east coast of Tasmania. Situated at the northern edge of the Freycinet National Park, the Coles Bay Triathlon is one of the most iconic destination events in Australia and is not to be missed.

A 1.9 km swim, 90 km ride and 21.1 km run (Half), 1500/40/10 (Olympic) and 750/20/5 (Sprint), with the most spectacular natural backdrop you will ever experience. Coles Bay is situated at the northern edge of the Freycinet National Park. Located 218 km northeast of Hobart and 202 km southeast of Launceston. It is justifiably one of the famous wilderness beauty spots on Tasmania’s east coast.
